Hi! I'm Elda, the heart & soul of Miss E's classroom

Miss E’s Classroom was born from a blend of my passion for teaching young learners and two decades of experience mastering the art of English education. Initially, I spent 10 years teaching teenagers and adults, honing skills like classroom management and effective language instruction.

My journey took an exciting turn in 2013 when I moved to Spain with my husband. Despite my extensive experience with older students, a private school offered me the chance to teach kindergarteners. Initially, I felt overwhelmed, but this challenge unveiled a hidden talent and a newfound love for teaching very young children.

A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor, right?

Embracing this new path, I invested in professional development, observed seasoned educators, and refined my techniques. Over the years, my dedication has blossomed into a vibrant, evergreen tree of knowledge and creativity.

Being totally honest, it was not easy; I knew I had a huge disadvantage (compared to other teachers), making me work twice as hard.

The resources I offer on Teachers Pay Teachers (T.P.T) and the insights I share on my blog and Instagram stem from this journey. Each resource is meticulously tested and improved to ensure it meets language goals and is loved by children.

Through my experience, I’ve learned that teaching young learners is an art that involves bringing your TRUE SELF into the classroom—your essence, values, and uniqueness, not the facts and subject we teach.

I hold a 5-year degree in Education, a Master’s in TESOL, and have completed numerous courses in phonics, didactic materials, and various ELT methodologies. My teaching experience spans countries, educational settings, and age groups, from preschool to sixth grade.

Currently, I focus on teaching preschool children and training English Language Teachers.
